Virtual Office Address
At a time when it is important to keep the overheads down, although still necessary to have a professional image for your business, you can utilise our address as your primary business contact and hire space from us to have meetings should you require this service. Our address is 622 Horton House, Exchange Flags, Liverpool, L3 2PB
Another benefit of having a virtual office is that post including DHL services can be received at the address on your behalf and retained until a representative from your business collects them.
Whether you require space for ad hoc meetings of weekly use or boardroom facilities, you can utilise the virtual office at reasonable rates.
Telephone Answering
Should your business require a telephone answering service you can route your calls to our landline when necessary and we could answer the phone for you at our offices, so the personal touch is kept. Digital recording and speaking to machines can be frustrating to clients as well as the fact that they could be unsure whether the message has been received and will be acted upon. Having a personal telephone answering service will enable you to have peace of mind and have your calls answered in a professional manner.
Message Forwarding
Message forwarding not just for telephone calls but also regarding emails can be handled by Aethena should this service be required. We can have a staff member sift through your emails and reply to the relevant ones and forward on those specifically for your action which will also alleviate stress and free up your time. With regards to telephone calls, our offices can also answer any basic questions that a usual receptionist would be trained to do and direct your clients in the right direction when needed.
Scheduled Payroll
Scheduled payroll is payroll that is selected by your company on the calendar to pay the employees on a specific payroll cycle that the employees are employed on. Aethena’s payroll packages can simplify this on your company’s behalf and ensure that all employees are paid timeously. If your staff are paid weekly, then we will process 52 scheduled payrolls on your behalf. An unscheduled payroll is utilised for purposes of a bonus and the like.
EPS Submissions
The EPS (employer payment summary) is the submission that is used to report values to HMRC that companies cannot include on the FPS (full payment submissions). These values affect the payments made to HMRC on a monthly or quarterly basis. You must also submit an EPS to notify HMRC that your company is going to claim the employment allowance, maternity leave as well as reclaiming Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) deductions as a limited company. EPS is also to claim National Insurance contributions holiday for previous years as well as to pay the Apprenticeship Levy. EPS is also utilised if employees have not been paid in a tax month. The SAGE accounting system are set up for these submissions.
The deadlines for EPS are for the 19th of the following tax month for HMRC to apply for any reduction on what is owed from FPS.
We can view what your company has claimed and the balance within 2 days of submission of EPS.
FPS Submissions
Full payment submissions are a record of all payments made to employees with deductions even if they are casual workers earning less than £120-00 per week. The FPS submission must be sent on or before the employees get paid even if HMRC are paid quarterly. At Aethena we can register your company as an employer to ensure all records are up to date and all employees and new employees.
